What should I set the motion vector to after disocclusion?

We can set the motion vectors for offscreen pixels high enough that when they are reprojected they won’t be in the previous frame’s viewport. We can abuse this mechanism for disoccluded pixels, but this won’t solve weighting/cofidence issues and antialiasing. With antialiased disocclusion, some samples might be on the disocclusion and some not.
What’s the correct way to go about this problem?

Hello @atilkurtulmus and welcome to the NVIDIA developer forums.

Can you give a bot more detail about which SDK or NVIDIA tool you are referring to? That might help me figure out who might be able to give you some hints or insights on the topic. Unless this is a completely generic Raytracing question.

Thanks!
