When using Isaac sim 4.2, opening USD, freezing, and getting stuck does not work properly

During the use of Isaac sim4.20, I encountered an issue with opening the USD freeze, but I was able to open the same USD using versions 2023.1 or 2022. And I have seen many people encounter the same situation as me. How should it be resolved?
In version 4.2.0, I deleted many things in USD before he could open it.
When I used the 2023 version, it opened very smoothly.

I can open the uploaded TestRoom_2.usd file in under 20 seconds. @Julie_A could you help try it on your side?

And then I tested it many times. If there are fewer objects (about ten rigid bodies, that’s collision body uses ConvexDecomposition, but no baked data), it may open normally. If there are more objects, it will basically get stuck. here are another test file with more objects, hope it helps.

Can the “USD Composer 2023.2.5” or “Isaac Sim 2023.x” application open this file? I tried using USD Composer, but it seemed stuck at 72%. Maybe I didn’t wait long enough.

Hi @VickNV, I can open this file with USD Composer 2023.2.5 in ten seconds, but it gets stuck when opened with Issac sim 4.2 or 2023.x

I have made some attempts, and regarding “TestRoom_2”, I was able to successfully open it using “Isaac Sim 2023. 1.1”. However, when I used “Isaac Sim 4.2”, it froze and I couldn’t open it. I waited for a long time but still couldn’t open it.
And I noticed that there was very little content in the scene, even so I couldn’t open it smoothly.

How should this problem be solved?

I can replicate the issue on a Windows laptop using the USD file from Collected_TestRoom_2.zip. I will discuss this with our team and provide an update here.
