Hi there we are desiging an Orin carrier board base on the design of Jetson\_AGX\_Orin\_DevKit\_Carrier\_Board. found that the debug and button MCU could be usful, so we keep the design there, wonder where can I find the firmware for the chips EFM/ATSAMD21G16B-AU Best Regards, Xinbai ---

just find the similar thread [Does anyone have the firmware of ATSAMD21G16B on Jetson\_AGX\_Orin\_DevKit\_Carrier\_Board](https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/does-anyone-have-the-firmware-of-atsamd21g16b-on-jetson-agx-orin-devkit-carrier-board/266746), if ATSAMD21G16B-AU is only used for USB to serial port debugging, then this firmware is not needed. We will adopt our own debugging scheme for debug purpse ---

In addition to connecting UART2 and UART3, this MCU seems to have some power control functions. Is it redundant with the key processing MCU function of EFM8? ---

Hi Trumany Thanks for your feedback, I got it on the Nvidia website [https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/downloads#?search=P3737\_P3768\_P2822\_P3509\_Power\_Button\_Firmware\_v011](https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/downloads#?search=P3737_P3768_P2822_P3509_Power_Button_Firmware_v011) Wonder If there is no special Button-related processing in NV’s official firmware, if just forwarding UART Debug data, then we don’t need the MCU and firmware.
