Where did CUT_CHECK_DEVICE go?

CUT_CHECK_DEVICE has disappeared from CUDA 1.0.

Is it now CUT_DEVICE_INIT or is there more to it? I cannot find documentation for either.

I think you are right. “CUT_DEVICE_INIT” seems to be the new “CUT_CHECK_DEVICE”.
