I am trying to run BOINC on a GTX 285 card on a Mac Pro, running OSX 10.6.3. I have loaded up the new CUDA 3.0 drivers, and also the Cudatoolkit 3.0 and the gpucomputingSDK 3.0 macros. BOINC recognizes the GPU as existing but all GPU tasks immediately fail because BOINC is looking for the file libcufft.dylib (and maybe perhaps others, but this is the only error I have so far). I cannot find this file anywhere on the computer, nor can I even find a reference as to where it is supposed be coming from i.e. which downloaded software package. Any guidance from the experts ? Thanks … BTW, I am nowhere close to being an expert in UNIX, so please be generous in your explanation details if so required …
