Dear All

I am involve in algorithmic development for radio-interferometry. I would like to experiment with
GPUs, but I am not sure which chipset to pick. Is any advantadge, from the calculation point
of view, to pick QUADRO over Gforce?

best

Paulo

The Quadro 5600 costs 5x more for very similar floating point performance but 2x the on-board memory of the GeForce 8800 GTX. It sounds like NVIDIA does better quality control on the Quadro line than the 3rd party companies do for the gamer cards, so you do get something extra for your money.
