I am trying to install an nvidia Titan X GPU in a Linux (Ubuntu 16.04) workstation with an existing nvidia Geforce 210 adapter. I intend to install cuda 8.0, so I have to upgrade to the newest nvidia driver (375). Unfortunately, there seems to be a compatibility problem with that driver and the Geforce 210 adapter. As soon as I install the 375 driver and reboot, the system seems to fall back to low resolution mode and I am unable to log in. Can you tell me how to address this problem? For example, can I use another version of the driver, yet still be able to install and run cuda 8.0?
