Which toolkit for Gentoo?

First of all, hi everyone!
My doubt is, as nvidia doesn’t officially support Gentoo, which toolkit should I use and what are the differences between them?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Somebody once told me there was a CUDA ebuild for Gentoo… Ahha-- http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=167685

They seem to use the OpenSUSE 10.2 builds, so you could give that a try if you don’t want to go the ebuild route.

Yep, the latest gentoo ebuild works great. Just drop nvidia-cuda-toolkit-2.0.ebuild to to your /usr/local/portage overlay, digest it and “emerge nvidia-cuda-toolkit”. It is nicer than installing it by hand because you an uninstall it easily and it sets up the paths for you.

Yep, this is it. Thank you both :)

Just an update for anyone who is using CUDA on gentoo, the CUDA ebuilds are now in portage. Just drop
“dev-util/nvidia-cuda-toolkit ~amd64” into your /etc/package.keywords and “emerge nvidia-cuda-toolkit” (after unmerging any you have installed from your local overlay, of course). There is an ebuild for installing the SDK too.
