My jetson orin nano board doesn’t detected by linux even if I plug in the cables to the board.
Are you using VM or native Ubuntu host PC to install SDK manager?
Hi,
Please confirm the flashing cables support data transfer.
Some cables only support charging.
Thanks
I’m using native Ubuntu host Pc to install sdk manager and version is 22.04
I used 3 cables to support data transfer. They are able to use while transferring the data. Are there another way to understand my hardware(board) is working right or is it related to my ubuntu machine?
Hi,
Some command like lsusb could detect the board.
After put the device in the recovery mode, please refer to this Quick Start — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide 1 documentation to make sure device whether in recovery mode.
Thanks
I tried most of the ways to detect the board. However, it is almost impossible to understand what leads to unable to connect board while installing the sdk manager btw my board model is jetson orin nano. Please give me certain solution.

The device could only be detected when it is in recovery mode. The method is already shared by David in previous comment.
We already have a button for recovery mode. Can you tell us how to go to recovery mode? Because when I try it by data sheet, it doesn’t go. I’m starting to suspect that the button is broken.

We don’t really have a “button” on recovery pin for NV devkit. If there is such button, it means it is a custom board.
Please check with your board vendor how to enter recovery mode. Or if that board is made by you and your team, go check with your hardware engineer.
We have a recovery button and you can check from this link https://openzeka.com/urun/d131l-jetson-orin-nano-4gb-yapay-zeka-kiti/
