Why does the lspci result show First Error Pointer: 04(Capabilities: [100 v1] Advanced Error Reporting,AERCap)?

Looking at the results of lspci for ConnectX-6 (MCX623106AN-CDAT), the First Error Pointer is 04(※). I have some questions regarding this.
(※)Capabilities: [100 v1] Advanced Error Reporting⇒AERCap: First Error Pointer: 04

Configuration: The ConnectX-6 is just installed in the PC, and the other side is not connected. Also, the lspci results were obtained immediately after turning on the PC.

① First Error Pointer: I think 04 indicates a past error, so it shows that an error occurred in bit 4 of the Uncorrectable Error Status Register(UESta), the Data Link Protocol Error Status, during PC startup. Since the value of the Uncorrectable Error Status Register(UESta) is 0, I believe this means that the Uncorrectable Error Status Register(UESta) has been cleared. Is my understanding correct?

② Is the above ① incorrect, and in ConnectX-6, is the value of the First Error Pointer 0x4 by default, meaning that no actual error has occurred?

③ Is it not possible to set the value of the First Error Pointer to 0? I understand that clearing it is not possible. Even after performing an FLR, the value remained 0x4 and did not change.

This is a supplement to the above.
The above is the result when the firmware version is 22.30.1004 (AERCap:First Error Pointer:04).
If the firmware version is set to 22.35.8002 or 22.47.1088, AERCap:First Error Pointer:08 will result.
Bit 8 does not have a corresponding bit in the Uncorrectable Error Status Register (UESta), so I think it is an impossible value. This led me to believe that an error did not actually occur, and that it was the default.

I also checked the First Error Pointer values of the following NICs. The results are below.
■Nvidia(Bluefield) NIC(FW version:32.43.2566)
Model number: MT43244

■intel NIC

■Broadcom NIC
