Why is my GPU Activity Low with Milk Drop Visualizations

I am using Milkdrop visualizations with Winamp. I increased settings to draw max resolution and images. I used task manager and my radeon wattman performance analyzer to monitor system. I wanted to see if I could have the visualizations run behind my IDE while i program. It seems that using the visualizations in such a way did not increase my GPU, CPU, or RAM activity more than 5%. How could this be? Are the visualizations easy for an RX 570 to handle so that is why I don’t notice a performance impact or could there be workloads not reflected in my performance monitors?

Hello,

Our tools do not currently support AMD GPUs (RX 570). You may want to consider posting in the AMD forums for help!

Thanks,
