or drag the object from stage, it does not create any image inside viewport
my notebook rtx 4090 use version 572.47 driver
Its “always” black? You have never got it to boot? If this is the case, then something in not compatible.
Is this on Windows?
If yes, the first thing I want you to do is to launch a Command Panel. Hit the Windows Key + R to start the run panel. Then type in CMD. This will start a command panel. Then type in “nvidia-smi” to run a diagnostic of your gpu. Please copy this whole result using the Windows Key + Shift + S. Then paste it in here.
Can you run other Omniverse software? Have you tried the older version of Isaac? 4.2? What about composer?
Finally, try this. Go to your Preferences and hit “Reset to Default”
“nvidia-smi” checked my notebook, everything is green.
Are you encountering this issue while running ‘USD Composer’ or ‘Isaac Sim Full’?
isaac sim full the same. thing
“No lights found in stage” still happened in isaac sim 4.2
Could you provide the log of Isaac Sim 4.5.0?
kit_20250127_201949.log (108.7 KB)
any resolution yet, it has been for two months, isaac sim 4.5 still does not work
Which installation method from Installation — Isaac Sim Documentation did you follow? Could you upgrade to the recommended driver version?
It says “no lights found in stage” … so add some lights ! :-) Add a cube and add a light. Or change your lighting preferences in the top right of the viewport from “Default” or “Stage Lights” to something else. Nothing is wrong, nothing is broken but obviously you need lights in the scene to see something. That is the warning you are getting.
If you are in “Stage Lights” with no lights added, you will just get a black screen. You have to change the mode to something that offers “temporary lighting” until you add your own lights. But better still, just drag in an environment background or make your own lights.
the problem was resolved by setting eye grid.
I am not sure I follow. The only thing you did was press G to turn on the grid? Not sure how that would affect the lighting.
Anyway, it’s not a hardware issue or driver issue issue or a GPU issue. It just sounds like it was a workflow issue.
