Please provide complete information as applicable to your setup.

**• Hardware Platform: Jetson AGX Orin**
**• DeepStream Version: 7.0**
**• JetPack Version: 6.0**
**• TensorRT Version: 8.6.2**
**• Issue Type( questions, bugs)**
**• How to reproduce the issue ? Try deepstream-app**
**• Requirement details( This is for new requirement. Including the module name-for which plugin or for which sample application, the function description)**

We would like to use “Smart Video Record” feature in deepstream-app. When we set “start-record=2” for each sources (2 rtsp streams), the deepstream-app does record 2 playable videos, but it just records once, then it quits/exits.
We expect it should behave (record on interval (frequently)) what the documentation ([Smart Video Record — DeepStream documentation 6.4 documentation](https://docs.nvidia.com/metropolis/deepstream/dev-guide/text/DS_Smart_video.html)) describes and the source code (g\_timeout\_add (bin-\>config-\>smart\_rec\_interval \* 1000, smart\_record\_event\_generator, bin);) shows.
If you have any hint on how to solve this issue, please let me know.

We provide info and log so that you refer to.

1. why Can this issue be reproduced every time? could you share the deepstream-app configuration file?
2. could you share the cfg and start command-line? I can’t reproduce this issue on Orin with DS7.0. Here is the log:

Thanks for your time.
It is our problem. Our app has been developed based on deepstream-app version 6.0, and we upgrade the deepstream-app parts to version 7.0, and it has this issue.
We already original deepstream-app v 7.0 and it does not has any issue.
Again, thank you.

Hi @fanzh ,
We have tested SR in `deepstream-test5 `, with at least one secondary gie or `tiled-display` enabled, the SR functionality works fine, but if we disable all secondary gie and tiled-display`, the SR functionality does not work as expected. It just records videos once then the app exits.

Could you test on your setting?
