Windows 2016 Start menu slow scrolling

I’m not sure where to post this, could be on the Citrix forums as well but I have this bug:

But then on Windows Server 2016. I already run the latest GPU drivers.

Config:

  • XenServer 7.1 LTSR
  • XenApp 7.15 LTSR CU1
  • Nvidia graphics driver 385.90
  • M6 GPU

I am experiencing this issue as well, similar config except M10 and vSphere 6… and I have also tried the 386.09 version of drivers and no improvement. Have you had any luck figuring this out?

We got the same problem. We are running XS 7.2 with XA 7.15 on Server 2016. When we use the Nvidia Grid 5.1 drivers 385.90. We get the same slow start menu as you. We had to downgrade to version 370.xx, to get a stable system.

I’m having the same issue:
vsphere 6.5.0.5969303, Server 2016, XenApp 7.15.1.
I have tested with the Grid 5.1 & 5.2 drivers (both host/vm drivers).

Is this already being investigated by nvidia?

Did you open a support ticket?
Can someone post a short video how this issue looks like? Never observed yet and I’m also using SRV2016.so it might be helpful to better understand.

I’m sorry for not updating the status of this topic, but this was solved for me by doing a clean install of Windows Server 2016 + XenApp 7.16 (currently running 7.17).

Same issue on Windows 2016 XenApp 7.16…

Have not tried a clean install.
