WinOFED 4.70 Unattended install

I am trying to install WinOFED 4.70 drivers on a Hyper-V 2012 Server(core).

The manual says to use the following switch

/S /v"/qn"

I have tried copy/paste the entire command as well as several variations

/S /v /qn

/S /v “/qn”

etc, but always get a pop-up help menu and the driver does not install. I had no problems installing WinOFED 4.2 or 4.4.

What am I missing?

Strange, I recently installed MLNX_VPI_WinOF-4_70_All_win2012R2_x64.exe on a core 2012 R2 host without problems using these parameters (Logfile was set to c:\mellanox\logfile.txt):

/S /v"/qn" /v"/l*vx [LogFile]"

Hi,

I’ve download the package from the web and install it with the switches as written in the user manual (/S /v"/qn") and it is working.

Note: There should not be any whitespace between the /v and “/qn”.
