Wlan not accessible on custom carrier board

wlan0 is up and running on the devkit with “tegra-l4t-r32.3.1” kernel (ssh without any problem). The Kernel was cross-compiled following instructions from ridgerun [ridgerun][/https://developer.ridgerun.com/wiki/index.php?title=Compiling_Jetson_TX2_source_code_L4T_32.1]
However when I mount the TX2 on any other board (our own custom or auvidea j90, keeping the antennas from devkit) ssh via wlan is impossible and debugging becomes somewhat difficult. Using avahi daemon to automatically connect with the Network.
On older releases and with sdk manager flashed board this has never been an issue.
Any ideas where to check? I guess some device tree settings?

Hi msutter,

For debug such issue, we need the dmesg.
However, I think you could firstly ask Auvidea about whether their board needs some special dtb or not.
