Wrong timing values of HDMI port

I would like to know why such converter needs precise pclk. What would happen if pclk is not enough?
Could you give a explanation?

I want to check with internal team whether this can be enhanced.

I am not sure the pclk is the root cause for the wrong timing vlaues issue. I just suspect it is.
We have bought a hdmi analyzer and were waiting for it delivered.
Once we get the analyzer, I will test it with Jetson TK1 and let you know the result.

I tested Jetson TK1 and the HDMI-DP converter with HDMI analyzer. It seemed that the H sync width changed when signal passed through the HDMI-DP converter. I confirmed with their FAE. They said the converter will change the H sync width but the signal should be good. I also found the resolution sometimes changed, e.g. 3840x1080 → 3837x1080. They said it might be caused by bad quality of signal.
Did Jetson TK1 pass the HDMI 1.4 CTS ?
