X gui dies after reboot but works fine after cold boot.

Brand new machine installed with CentOs 7
GeForce RTX 2070

Nvidia driver properly installed and loaded by kernel!

If the machine gets a “reboot”, the OS starts to boot and shows the initial CentOs 7 Wallpaper (the one with the big 7 on it) and after a couple of seconds the screen goes dark, right before showing the Login window.

The machine still runs perfectly fine, and connected to the network, Text TTYs are available and working properly as well.

This problem persists and happens every time the machine is rebooted and only when it is rebooted.

If the machine gets powered off and powered on from cold state, everything works perfectly normal.

Can you switch to VT (e.g. ctrl+alt+f4) or log in over ssh when this happens?
if so, please run nvidia-bug-report.sh as root and attach the resulting .gz file to your post. Hovering the mouse over an existing post of yours will reveal a paperclip icon.
