Xaiver usb type c

I designed my own xaiver carrier board , and the usb type c part is consistent with the official carrier board. If the PD controller didn’t burn the firmware when I flash the operating system, can I burn it successfully by using the cable from TYPE C to USB A and connecting it to the USB 2.0 interface of the computer?

Hi,
The PD controller is up and running when booting to kernel. It is not involved in flashing the system. If you ground force-recovery pin and power up the device, the SoC goes into force-recovery mode and is ready for flashing image.

Thanks, when I flash the operating system, can I burn it successfully by using the cable from TYPE C to USB A and connecting it to the USB 2.0 interface of the computer?

Hi,

If the host PC is in Ubunut 18.04 or 20.04, this should be same as what we flash Xavier developer kit. It shall work fine.
