Xavier can't be started any more

Hello guys, I have just met a serious problem.

I have installed the WLAN card Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 at the M.2 port of my Xavier before.
Just now I unpluged the two cables from the pins of the WLAN card carelessly, and the Xavier was suddenly powered off.
Then I can’t start my Xavier any more.

Is there anyone, who met the similar problem before?
Is there safty fuse on the Xavier board?

Thanks a lot!

“unpluged the two cables from the pins of the WLAN card carelessly”

Do you mean you accidentally hotplug something from m.2 key?

Are you still able to get serial console log from xavier now?

Thank you for your reply.

Exactly, I mean I accidentally hotplug two cables from m.2 key.
Unfortunately, I am not able to get serial console log from xavier now. It means, that when I click on the start button, nothing happens.

Is it really a big problem? How can I solve this problem? Could you give some suggestions?

Thanks a lot.

Yes, of course it is a big problem. It seems your xavier hardware is broken.

Please try to flash your board with sdkmanager again and see if it can still flash.

Thanks again.

I have tried to flash my board, but it cannot be flashed any more.

I found another phnomenon, I am not sure what it represents:
When I click once on the start button, the LED of the adapter flashes once;
When I press and hold the start button, the LED of the adapter flashes continuously.

Could you give me further suggestions?

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

If you put the device into recovery mode, and use command “lsusb” on host, are you able to see “Nvidia corp” keyword?

If not, then this hardware is broken. Please file a RMA request.

Unfortunately, my xavier can’t be detected with “lsusb” any more.
As you said, the hardware is broken, I must file a RMA request.

Thank you all for your suggestions!
