Xavier Computer Vision Install Fails in sdkmanager

Hello,

Just received my Xavier. Excited to get started. The sdkmanager makes the process so much easier than on Nano. OS installed, all the SDKs installed except Computer Vision. Here are the errors. TIA

Hi,

The error occurs when the SDK manager tries to install OpenCV on your host.
It looks like your host already has an OpenCV package installed, which stop the JetPack’s OpenCV from installing.

If you already have one OpenCV on your host, you don’t need to install it again.

Thanks.

Makes sense. Thank you very much.

@AastaLLL do you mean we should continue flash the Xaiver even I have the opencv installation error? So opencv3.2 will be installed on my Xaiver?

Hi,

The process for host and device are separate.
You don’t need to install the packages for the host if you just want to set up the Xavier environment.

Thanks.

Thank you @AastaLLL
