When Using Sdk Manger for jetpack4.2
it stop and keep showing ‘installation of “File system and OS” take longer than expected’. as I remember.
when I failed jetpack on vm, I change to other computer and start sdk manger.
but it show ‘installation of “File system and OS” take longer than expected’ at 99.8%.
the host com is ubuntu 18.04 minimal install.
At vm there was error at flash os part so I change to other computer that run with native ubuntu.
I have a little dual core atom laptop I’ve flashed from, and this is constantly giving me the “taking longer than expected”. I just ignored it and flash finished. [Fortunately I now have a real host PC Ubuntu I can use.]
VMs usually fail if the USB port is not 100% owned by the VM even when the USB is disconnecting/reconnecting.
I know vm doesn’t work
so I change to other Ubuntu PC.
But it stop and keep showing ‘installation of “File OS” take longer than expected’ at 99.8% and no more.
My problem is Not at vm. It is happening at other host PC Ubuntu.

I am having the same issue while installing Jetpack-4.2.1 on Xavier. NVIDIA SDK keeps complaining that “installation is taking more time than expected”. When I select continue installation, it stops flashing at 99.8%. I have tried with two different host machines (one runs Ubuntu 16.04 and another runs Ubuntu 18.04) with at least 100 GB available on disk.
Could you please tell me how your issue is solved and what version of python did you install?
