Xavier Login Loop

Hello,

My Xavier is stuck at the login and typically this is fixed a few ways but all require sudo privileges. After ctrl+alt+F3, the system is giving “USER is not in the sudoer file.” I’m hoping not to do a clean flash.

What are the default root credentials? Or is there a way to access a root terminal through a recovery boot?

Thanks!

Ubuntu does not create a root user…the account is locked. Only sudo is available. When you create the first login account on first boot, this user is the one which can use sudo (using that user’s password). Did you create an account via local login on first boot?

if you have the login loop you might have exhausted all free space;
you may check with df -h under the terminal
