Xavier NX Suspend(S3) mode power-LED(GPIO04) keeps on

Hi
Xavier NX enters S3 mode, the power-LED keeps on, and the NANO light will go out.
How should GPIO04 pin127 be the same as NANO?

Best Regards

hello tom.lin,

LED keep-on when enter suspend mode, we had confirm this with JetPack-4.4 / l4t-r32.4.3 on Xavier-NX.
may I have more details about what’s your actual use-case.
thanks

Hi Jerry
Our company is developing a carrier-board. At the same time, there are two cases of NANO and Xavier-NX, and we found different results. Because we must meet the company-defined standards, we hope that the results will be the same.

Hi Jerry
Have you found a place that can be modified?
There is also this light management, are there other actions to choose?
For example: flashing, two-color light switch

hello tom.lin,

FYI, the GPIO control of Power-LED on Nano (B00/B01) were mainly for throttling event notification.
we’re still under internal discussion to align Jetson-NX with Jetson-Nano.
thanks

Hi Jerry
Can you provide us with a way to change the S0/S3/S5 light signal?
Best Regards

Hi @JerryChang
Discuss the results within your company, and then correct and complete them. Before the time of Release BSP, can you provide us with how to modify the power LED S0/S3/S5 mode switch lights and twinkle lights?

Best Regards

hello tom.lin,

please refer to dtsi changes, 0001-dts-Jakku-enable-gpio-led-for-P3668.zip (847 Bytes)
thanks

Hi @JerryChang
The S5 Power-LED will be turned off. We looked at the added content once, and there should only be corrections to this item, no changes to the S3 part, right?

The patch supports led off during suspend and shutdown.
There are no other power modes in Jetson.

Hi @Bibek
Do you mean that this patch only supports turning on or off the lights? Can S3/S3 be controlled separately?

Best Regards

hello tom.lin,

may I have more details of S0/S3/S5; what did you mean about them, different power states?

Hi @JerryChang
We provide customers with different light signals in different power states. It can avoid customer’s wrong message response and confirm the power state test judgment. As mentioned before, turn on the light, turn off the light, we Hope it can be different from these two lights under s3.

Best Regards

as @Bibek mentioned in post #12, there are no other power modes in Jetson.
