Xavier 系统低温启动失败

将装有xavier模组的设备放在温箱中,低温-20℃保存12小时,然后直接上电启动。启动过程中,一直卡在大概在以下字段前后,详细见如下图截图中

Started user manager for UID 120…
Stopping user manager for UID 120…
Removed slice user slice of gdm
Created slice user slice of gdm
Time out for waiting for device dev-ttyGSO device
Dependency failed for serial Getty on ttyGSO
反复重启几次,均是同样效果。

Stopping user manager for UID 120… 代表什么异常?
Time out for waiting for device dev-ttyGSO device 代表什么异常?

version jetpack4.2

I know very little about the above, but there is one thing to check before continuing: If you’ve created a new user ID, then the UID must have the GID associated with group “video” for GUI or CUDA to work. Go to file “/etc/group”, find the line with “video”, and see if the user name associated with that UID is a supplemental member of group video (the GID). If not, then add your new user to also be a member of group video (the example below assumes the user name associated with UID 120 is “ubuntu”, please adjust to whatever name is associed with UID 120):
sudo usermod -aG video ubuntu

If your user is already a member of group video, then someone else will need to answer the question.

Also note that there could be a similar situation with a serial UART if the user is not a member of group “dialout”. If UID 120 is accessing “/dev/ttyGS0”, then check ownership and group of ttyGS0:
ls -l /dev/ttyGS0

Then, if the “group” part is owned by “dialout” (which is what the default is unless this is a serial console…in which case it would instead be group “tty” and you would not use this as a general case UART), then you could add your user (again assuming name “ubuntu” for UID 120, adjust as needed):
sudo usermod -aG dialout ubuntu

hello yanyingchun,

according to Jetson AGX Xavier Series Module Data Sheet,

Operating Requirements: Temperature Range: -25C to 80C

may I know what’s the actual use-case to put device in the -20℃ for 12-hours.
could you please also access Jetson AGX Xavier Developer Kit User Guide, it’s J501, Micro-USB connector provides access to the UART console, please share the complete boot failure logs for reference,
thanks
