XDR Q3200 to HDR Q8790

Hi,

We are planning to add a new Q3200 XDR switch and connect it as a leaf to our existing Q8790 HDR spine.

Is this topology officially supported? If so, which transceivers are recommended for connecting XDR to HDR in this setup?

Hi Eyal,

Yes, it is possible to connect the Q3200 to the QM8790.

You can use OSFP to 2xQSFP56 AOC (like MFA7U10-H0xx-FLT )(up to 30m). or DAC like MCP7Y60-H01A.
