XenServer 7.2 64bit

Hello,

I am trying to update LAN driver on XenServer and I am getting this message: “-bash: ./install.sh: No such file or directory”

Here are my steps:

Download (ISO File) driver 4.2-1.2.0 from Mellanox website http://www.mellanox.com/page/mlnx_ofed_eula?mtag=linux_sw_drivers&mrequest=downloads&mtype=ofed&mver=MLNX_OFED-4.2-1.2.0… http://www.mellanox.com/page/mlnx_ofed_eula?mtag=linux_sw_drivers&mrequest=downloads&mtype=ofed&mver=MLNX_OFED-4.2-1.2.0.0&mname=MLNX_OFED_LINUX-4.2-1.2.0.0-xenserver7.2-x86_64.iso

Move the driver iso to /tmp directory on the host which needs to be updated using FileZilla

Now, run the below steps to update the driver:

  • mkdir -p /mnt/tmp
  • mount /tmp/ /mnt/tmp -o loop,ro
  • cd /mnt/tmp/
  • ./install.sh

And this is where I get this message:

“-bash: ./install.sh: No such file or directory”

There is another script -

./mlnxofedinstall

that should be run in order to install drivers, not ./install.sh

Also there are some other issues (potentially removing mellanox-mlnxen.x86_64 and fixing pif-scan or pif-introduce not working) - you should probably check here for solution:
