ZED camera not detected without HDMI connected on TX2

I’ve TX2 with ZED camera connected to USB3.0, after boot up, it runs a program automatically trying to connect ZED camera.
If I have the HDMI connected, it runs normally. But, if I do the following:

  1. Disconnect HDMI;
  2. Power on TX2;
    Then the ZED camera cannot be detected. Then,
  3. I connect the HDMI,
    The ZED camera be detected normally again.

Another thing, I do the mount sd card after boot up, if with HDMI disconnected, sometimes, the sd card can not be mounted well. If with HDMI connected, all running quite well.

Any one knows why?

Hi Hi rockking.jy,

ZED cam is using USB as interface, right? Could you compare the kernel log between HDMI connected/disconnected when trying to detect ZED cam?

Hi rockking.jy,

Have you compared the kernel log between HDMI connected/disconnected when trying to detect ZED cam?
Any clue? Or this is not an issue now?

Thanks

Hi, thanks for your answer. I’ve found that the problem is, when I disconnect HDMI and mount the micro sd card by cpp program when boot up, sometimes it fails to do this.
