470.xx branch is now missing on Unix Drivers page

470.xx legacy branch is now missing on Unix Drivers page, but still listed on Current driver releases.

Was it intentional? NVIDIA will stop supporting this branch?

I hope not. This was the branch that was supposed to be supporting Kepler GPUs.

We’re working on getting that page updated to include the 470 series. Sorry for the delay. In the meantime, you can still find the 470 series releases in the driver archive.

Phew! You had a number of us worried… 😅

Could we get an update on this, please?

Telling users, “Identify which driver series supports your GPU, then go to Unix Drivers | NVIDIA and download the latest driver for that series.” is pretty straightforward.

Telling them, “Identify which driver series supports your GPU, and if it’s anything other than 470.xx, go to Unix Drivers | NVIDIA and download the latest driver for that series. If you need a 470.xx series driver, instead go to Linux AMD64 Display Driver Archive | NVIDIA, find the most recent 470.xx.yy version listed, and download that instead.” is… … … less straightforward.

SUCCESS!! \o/

Wonder of wonders, the 470 drivers are finally available from the same Unix Drivers | NVIDIA page as all the others! Our long international nightmare is over.

Thanks @aplattner, and/or whomever else there at Nvidia we should give credit for sorting this out.
