CUDA 6.5 Samples (Jetson TK1 - R21.1 Freezes)

Hi,
I just installed CUDA 6.5 on the Jetson TK1 board. After the installation I wanted to try the downloaded samples to make sure CUDA successfully installed properly. I went to execute the following commands:

Build Samples (optional)

cd /usr/local/cuda-6.5/bin

./cuda-install-samples-6.5.sh ~/

Switch to CUDA directory in ~/

make

Which started fine. But now the screen windows are all unresponsive, and it appears the compilation has caused the process to freeze. This is the 2nd time this has happened (different board). Has anyone else experienced this before? Are there any solutions available to remedy this issue, or have an alternative suggestion to running the NVIDIA CUDA 6.5 Samples?

Thanks!

Try installing L4T R21.2
