CUDA error at bandwidthTest.cu for GeForce GTX 660M

I’ve encountered several problems when installing CUDA in my computer. Now when validating the result from deviceQuery CUDA Sample, there is no error and I got this result:

LINtekiiMac:release linyu$ ./deviceQuery
./deviceQuery Starting…

BTW, my device is “GeForce GTX 660M”

and then I wanted to test bandwidthTest program, but I got an error :

LINtekiiMac:release linyu$ ./bandwidthTest
[CUDA Bandwidth Test] - Starting…
Running on…

Device 0: GeForce GTX 660M
Quick Mode

CUDA error at bandwidthTest.cu:719 code=2(cudaErrorMemoryAllocation) “cudaEventCreate(&start)”

Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thank you very much!

Which OS and driver did you install? Could you plase run deviceQuery_drv and provide the log?

My computer version is os X 10.8.4 and I installed CUDA-5.5 and cudadriver-5.5.24.

Run ./deviceQueryDrv :

LINtekiiMac:release linyu$ ./deviceQueryDrv
./deviceQueryDrv Starting...

Actually, I just test the bandwidthTest program and it runs successfully. I don’t know why it happens, but it just works out.

Thank you for your reply very much!

Once again, a restart fixed this problem for anyone that wasn’t aware of the other threads.

It’s just so funny because I couldn’t find any other results for something similar other than the two other posts made, and they were all made within the span of a few days of each other.
