Having gotten a new PC, I wish to continue training my AI project. When comparing the driver which is available in the GUI, it seems that onkly a few drivers are available in the 5xx versions. 535 is the oldest,.
When importing the old VM (with PCI-express passthrough), the older 525 driver is waaaay faster than the 535 /550 driver.
So question #1 of the day: how does one actually install an older driver? It’s not listed, even after running sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers, and if one runs the downloadable .run file, it keeps throwing errors, even when installing in safe mode, hacing gcc and make installed etc.
