How to update the driver to version 590?

I want to update my driver in DGX Spark to version 590 to use CUDA 13.1. However, I can not update the driver.

This page says I should use dashboard to update the system including driver. I updated the system twice in the dashboard. However, the version is still 580.

I also tried manual updating. I run sudo apt install nvidia-open and sudo apt install nvidia-driver-open. Both commands failed.

The output is

What should I to update my driver on DGX Spark? sudo apt install nvidia-open works perfectly on my laptop with RTX 3080 laptop GPU.

It looks like 590 drivers are still in Beta for aarch64.

Very likely. :)

But the release note of cuBLAS even has the name of DGX Spark.

I think there must something that can be used. So, can I use the beta version driver?

You can certainly try to download it from NVIDIA downloads page. Just make sure you use aarch64 one.
Spark uses its own Ubuntu repo, so not everything that is available in the mainstream will be available on Spark unless you link mainstream repositories.

I wouldn’t recommend that unless you are very comfortable tinkering with Linux and kernel modules. Just wait until the release.

Thanks very much. Maybe I should really wait.
