Invisible vs Disabled

Hello Nvidia,

I have a scene omniverse struggles with, it’s pretty big. I can easily make a workable version by deactivating some primitives. To my surprise, omniverse does not seem to support the concept of disabling vs hiding. ( just hiding these branches still makes the load time incredibly high, as well as the memory pressure.) Currently, I just use houdini or usdview to store a version with parts disabled, but this does not work well for scene stored on a nucleus server.

Are there any plans to support disabling prims at one point?

Yes there is a version coming with the ability to activate and deactivate prims in the usd file.
