I experienced the same problem. This is not an isolated issue.
I tried the fix…
sandy@orinnano-desktop:~$ sudo snap revert snapd
[sudo] password for orinnano: password1234
2025-07-12T09:52:34-06:00 INFO Waiting for automatic snapd restart...
snapd reverted to 2.68.5
…aaaand Chromium is working again.
Thank you very much to everyone for the help.
HOWEVER, I tried a lot of other things first, including reinstalled Jetpack on an SD Card (original install was an SSD). Because it is a fresh install, sudo snap revert snapd
did NOT work, because there is nothing to revert to. Someone (smarter than me) needs to figure out how to load snap 2.68.5 on a fresh install. Also, how to stop snap from updating, until this is fixed.
