I don’t know where you got or how you came up with this idea, but please just don’t do this.
You can directly install the whole system on the NVMe drive, and there is no need to play with symbolic links.
For the booting log, it’s useless because it now boots into the recovery partition after multiple failing attempts to boot normally.
