I built a quadcopter equipped with a (GMAX0505) camera paired with a 20MP lens to detect and decode shelf barcodes. Each barcode is 0.5 in height and width is variable.
Camera specifications:
Sensor: 25 MP monochrome, global Shutter
Resolution: 5120 x 5120
Frame rate: 13 FPS
The camera is connected via USB 3.0 to a Jetson Orin NX 16GB Developer Kit.
When the drone is stationary, the images are sharp and barcodes decode reliably. In flight (≈ 0.5–1 m/s), however, the images become motion‑blurred and decoding fails.
Questions: 1. * What methods can I use to deblur these images in real time? 2. Do the Jetson AGX Orin 64 GB or Orin NX 16 GB Developer Kits include an ISP (Image Signal Processor)? 3. Are there reference applications or forum threads demonstrating real‑time deblurring or motion‑blur reduction on Jetson? 4. If there is an onboard ISP, can it help mitigate motion blur?
all these have internal ISP, you’ll need to enable camera through CSI interface to utilize it.
please refer to module data sheets for checking ISP sections.
While checking the data sheets of the following, I found out that the datasheet of Orin NX and Orin Nano shows the features of Image Signal Processing (ISP), whereas, the datasheet of AGX Orin doesn’t show any features or details, but just only being mentioned once.
Can you please confirm the availability of ISP in AGX Orin Developer Kit 64 GB?
