Partial cross-post from the 580 feedback thread on the new 580.95.05 and the Xid 13 errors in Elite Dangerous.
TL;DR: A workaround for now seems to find the best combination of lowering supersampling and limiting frame rate that wouldn’t lead to Xid 13 errors. Cards with less processing power might need very conservative values, e.g. ≤ 1.0x SS and ≤ 30 fps limit.
