NVIDIA Brings Generative AI Tools, Simulation and Perception Workflows to ROS Developers

At ROSCon, NVIDIA and its robotics ecosystem partners introduced new generative AI tools and workflows designed for ROS developers, with a focus on the NVIDIA Jetson platform for edge AI and robotics. Projects like ReMEmbR and WhisperTRT enable robots to perceive their environments better, communicate naturally, and make autonomous decisions.

Developers can now utilize ROS 2 Nodes for Generative AI, which bring Jetson-optimized large language models (LLMs) and vision language models (VLMs) to enhance robot capabilities.
