I have an Acer aspire 3 with a intel i5 8250U and a Nvidia Mx 130. I tried to install every driver (i’m actually using the 384.130 which are the suggested by the system), but everytime i reboot the system and open nvidia x server setting it only shows 2 options. Even from the system info , I can’t see my graphic card.I use a Linux distro called Elementry Os.
Please chek if the package nvidia-prime is installed, if not , install it. Then see if you can switch to the nvidia gpu using
sudo prime-select nvidia
If nothing works, please run nvidia-bug-report.sh as root and attach the resulting .gz file to your post.
