Objects missing after importing USD files into a scene in USD Explorer


I’m working with a scene in USD Explorer and need to import additional USD files into this scene. However, after importing, some objects are missing, although their names still appear in the stage hierarchy. When I open the USD files separately, all objects are visible.

Can anyone help me understand why this is happening and how to fix it?

Hmm, this is strange. There may be a naming conflict between the two files. You say you are “importing” files, meaning they are not USD files to start with ? I would say that you need to “import” all your non usd files first, separately and then save them as usd files. Then try to merge only usd files together, not the direct imports.

Also try USD Composer 2023.2.5 as well. This is much more powerful. Use that, save as a USD file and then you can always open the file in Explorer later.
