Particle System Editor - No OG Prim Node Option

I’m trying to follow this tutorial:

I have downloaded the tutorial files and followed every instruction to the letter.

However, when I get to the point of adding the VFXShere01 mesh by dragging it into the particle editor, I do not get the option to select “OG Prim Node”.

I have four other options and have tried them all, but none of them result in the meshes instantiating on the points.

I am having a similar problem and am having trouble.
Could you please tell me how you have dealt with it since then?

Hi, I never did manage to solve that problem. In the end I had to create the particles in Blender and export them as animated meshes to use them in USD Composer.
As far as I can tell, the particle system in USD Composer is being rewritten, I am guessing that is why it is not fully functional yet.
