RTX3060 Mobile NVDEC

Dear Video Codec Team,

Since the video codec support matrix is advertised here, I would like to ask some questions in this forum:

  1. Is there a timeline on adding more recent cards to the support matrix? We have several cards that are not listed, and are kind of lost.
  2. Does the RTX3060 Mobile support NVDEC? It seems not to work for us. Specifically, ffmpeg complains during the following command that the cuvid decoder is not supported.

ffmpeg -y -hwaccel cuvid -c:v h264_cuvid -i PutVideoPathHere -f null /dev/null

It works fine on a desktop RTX3060.

Apparently it is a problem with Lenovo’s Legion 5 Series laptops:

The discussion is about NVEnc, but apparently NVDec is also affected.
