I am a Master’s thesis student at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, Germany, conducting my research at Fraunhofer IEM in Paderborn. My thesis is titled “Digital Twin-Based Training of Humanoid Robots in NVIDIA Isaac Sim/Lab using Reinforcement Learning Methods.”
My work is entirely built on NVIDIA’s ecosystem specifically Isaac Lab, Isaac Sim, and RSL-RL for PPO-based locomotion training of a humanoid robot across a terrain curriculum.
As a student, the $3.00/hr cost of the Isaac Launchable on Brev is difficult to sustain for the duration of my thesis. I wanted to buy an RTX card but the cost is as high as 3000 to 4000 $. I would greatly appreciate any student credits or promotional access that would allow me to continue my research using NVIDIA’s tools.
