I am training YOLO on my RTX GPU on Lenovo Loq. The training works okay when the VSCode is on the foreground and not idle (like moving mouse or clicking here and there). The issue arises when I leave my laptop idle for long (around 3 minutes) or click on another app, window or even taskbar, the training becomes 25% slower than the usual. And it happens, as soon as I click somewhere so the change is realtime. I tried running the same code on cmd, same issue. Changed quite a lot of settings but the issue is still there. I wonder if there is any option that I haven’t tried?
Probably need to put your laptop to performance mode
@ubaidulakbar Were you able to solve this? Thanks!
