Then, I realized i snipped off the bash prompt at the end, so I rebooted again. Realizing i specified the wrong TTY, i powered off (causing an unclean unmount of teh NVMe), and retried… and it booted.

So no clue what happened there. It works, now. The only difference seems to be the filesystem was not cleanly unmounted, and yet that fixed it? Waiting for me at login was an update for the Coral modules.

and rebooting… and it works. I assume I can put my Coral back in now that a module is rebuilt. Any insight as to what might have gone wrong? I’m unsure whether to blame the DKMS, the Coral modules, or the NVMe configuration here.

Edit: yeah, it boots with the coral inserted and the modules for it are loaded.
Edit2: I didnt’ put 2 and 2 together immeidatley, but somebody reported this an issue on my GitHub the other day, so I don’t think it’s NVMe or Coral related per the note at the bottom of this post it may be a bad kernel package that did it. I still have no earthly idea why it’s booting now.
