Hello,
I stumbled across an interesting setting in the NVIDIA Profile Inspector. It is called “Low Latency RR Mask” under the category “Sync and Refresh” and is a option from the “Prefered Refreshrate” setting.
I searched everywhere for the exact function of this, but I couldn’t find an explanation.
If someone knows something about it, I would love to hear it.
For context: I am a little bit into optimizing my input lag and the general smoothness of my games.
I have a RTX 2080 Super, I use Reflex Low Latency + Boost and Gsync paired with Vsync and a framecap.
Can this actually help me to achieve my goal?
I am very curious, because this is somewhat of a hidden setting.
Could it be even better than “Highest available”?
Thanks in advance!
