I see a large degree of pin-for-pin and form factor compatibility between Jetson AGX Orin and Jetson AGX Xavier modules, and only form factor compatibility among the Nano lines at Jetson FAQ | NVIDIA Developer
For my upcoming product I need 10 years of availability, yet I see that (if Orin became available in March 2023) only about a 7-8 year span of availability (max) based on Jetson Product Lifecycle | NVIDIA Developer .
Is there any guarantee of the next version (rumor has it, Rubin in 2025) of Jetson modules (AGX or Nano) serving as an improved, drop-in replacement for the Orin ones?
Can I get that in writing? :-)
I would be very happy to sign an NDA if needed to get these kind of details; especially about Thor variations.
Really what I want is an NX compute-size but with industrial-style temperature, shock/vibe, and availability specs. A 2x price increase is no problem.
