Why COMPUTE_PROFILE command-line profiler has been dropped?

Hi!

Why command-line profiler has been dropped? (via environment variable COMPUTE_PROFILE)

Because there are other profilers available. Since NVIDIA is a resource constrained company, and there is development, support, maintenance, and QA effort for each software component, it was deemed that the support for this profiler would be dropped so resources could be focused on the other profilers.

Oh, I see. This is sad because this was the last way of profiling OpenCL on NVIDIA hardware :(
