Will nvidia implement the "VK_EXT_image_drm_format_modifier" vulkan extension?

The Vulkan extension "VK_EXT_image_drm_format_modifier"¹ is needed to (e.g.) make gamescope² work.
Seems³ like this is still missing, at least I didn’t see anything in the 495.29.05 notes.

I’m tired of NVIDIA continually shitting on their Linux clients, my 8 year old Intel laptop has better Wayland support than my desktop with an RTX 3080. If Intel GPUs are any good I’ll definitely stay away from NVIDIA in the near future.

Bumping this thread. Is there any news on this?

Would love this also.
